Hanna Milani-Walker and Richard Bivens are the compassionate team behind Caring Transitions of Central San Francisco. Hanna, a lifelong San Franciscan, has always been deeply connected to her community. Growing up in a large family instilled in her a strong sense of service and a desire to help others. With a background in events, she excels in organizing complex situations, which she now channels into helping families navigate the often overwhelming process of downsizing and transitioning. Richard, who has lived in the Bay Area for over a decade, brings a unique perspective shaped by witnessing his grandmother's mental and physical decline. His empathy and understanding of the challenges that come with aging make him a valuable partner in providing the personalized care that Caring Transitions is known for. Together, Hanna and Richard opened their Caring Transitions franchise to meet the profound need for compassionate support during life's transitions. Having both experienced the challenges of caring for aging parents, they understand how overwhelming these times can be. Their mission is to help families downsize, declutter, and preserve cherished memories while being mindful of sustainability and community engagement. They are passionate about building relationships with local businesses and creating employment opportunities within their community, ensuring their work has a lasting impact on both the environment and the people they serve in San Francisco.
